D.V.Somayajulu

D.V.Somayajulu (son of late D.V.Subba Rao garu, eminent lawyer and former Mayor, Visakhapatnam) has been appointed as judge in the High court of Andhra Pradesh. For the first time in the history of the High Court, a lawyer from district court, Vishakhapatnam, has been elevated as High Court Justice. It is learnt that this is also the first time such an appointment has happened in India. He graduated in Commerce from Dr. L Bullayya College and studied Law from Andhra University

Kona Srikar Bharat

Kona Srikar Bharat who hails from Vizag was born 3rd October 1993 to Kona Srinivas Rao and K. Manga Devi. He Studied at St.Aloysius High School and Graduated from Dr.Lankapalli Bullayya College, he was the Captain of the college Cricket team. He started his cricketing career with the Andhra Ranji Trophy Cricket team in the year 2012, in the year 2015 he became the first wicket Keeper bats man to score a Triple Hundred in the Ranji Trophy. He joined IPL and played for Delhi Daredevils from 2015 to 2020 and moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2021, Delhi Capitals in 2022 and Gujarat Titans in 2023 He made his international debut for India in February 2023 against Australia

Dronamraju Srinivas

Dronamraju Srinivas is a Congress politician and is the son of former Congress leader late Dronamraju Satyanarayana. Dronamraju Srinivas was born on February 1, 1961. He studied B.Com in Bullayya College. As a student, he showed interest in politics and became a NSUI leader. He also studied Law. Srinivas held several political positions in his career. He became a youth congress leader in Pendurthi constituency in 1984-85. He served as the district youth congress secretary between 1987-89. Later, he served as the district congress committee primary secretary from 1991 till 1997. He became the Vice President of the District Congress Committee and served in that position till 2000. He served as the President of DCC from 2001 till 2006. He was elected as MLA representing Visakhapatnam South constituency. in 2006 and was later re-elected in 2009. On February 9, 2012, Dronamraju Srinivas was appointed Government whip.

Gautami Tadimalla

Gautami Tadimalla (born 2 July 1968) is an Indian film actress who has worked mainly in Tamil films, although she also appeared in successful films in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada cinema. She is also a television actress, television host and known costume designer.

She has a number of awards to her credit :

Gautami is a cancer survivor and has been discussing the disease on various forums. She faced cancer at the age of 35 and ever since it has been a long road to recovery for her. “My fight with cancer changed my outlook towards life. I don’t take it for granted any more. Every single day counts and we must live it to the fullest. Making small changes in our daily routine actually adds value to life,” she says. When Gautami was diagnosed, her daughter was just five years old. “She has played a pivotal role in fighting with cancer,” says Gautami, adding, “this is what I have been spreading the word about.”

Subhalekha Sudhakar

Subhalekha Sudhakar (born as Suravajala Sudhakar) is a film and Television actor who is famous with Telugu and Tamil audience. Hailing from Visakhapatnam, Sudhakar has come to Chennai film institute with a dream of becoming an actor. After many trials, he was offered an important role in K Vishwanath’s “Subhalekha” and henceforth, Sudhakar got to known as “Subhalekha Sudhakar” as there was another actor by the same name. The movie’s success made Sudhakar, a busy actor in no time and he mostly played either hero’s friend or appeared in comic roles. The actor has been married to popular singer SP Sailaja. Chima Ephraim Okorie

Chima Ephraim Okorie (born 8 October 1968 in Izomber, Abia State) is a Nigerian former professional football striker who was renowned for his goal scoring prowess in the Indian leagues. Okorie moved to India as a student, his big break came when he played first time in the Durand Cup, when he represented Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad X1. He then signed a major deal with Mohammedan SC, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. He then moved to England, joining Peterborough United on non-contract terms before joining Grimsby Town in September 1993.

He made his English league debut as a substitute away to Crystal Palace winning the Sunday Man of the match, and made four further appearances (all as a substitute) He moved to Torquay United in March 1994 and was a regular in the Torquay side for the next twelve months, before losing his place to Duane Darby.
He joined Norwegian premier side Sogndal, later playing for Danish premier sides Ikast FS and Viborg FF. He returned to India to play again for Mohun Bagan, but received a two-year suspension after being accused of assaulting a referee in a game on August 31, 1999.
On June 3, 2006 he was made manager of Bengal-Mumbai FC, and also became the club's CEO on August 16. He was appointed manager of Mohun Bagan on February 20, 2007, but resigned on April 7 following differences with the club's senior players. He then became the manager of the Delhi based I-League 2nd division side Osian's New Delhi Heroes.
